# POST /api/v1/fixed-assets/suggest-capitalization/start

> Start AI capitalization suggestions as a background job

## Description

Starts the capitalization scan as a background job and returns its workflow_id immediately. Stream the id via the task status endpoint; the finished job's result holds the same payload as the synchronous route.

## Authentication

Bearer token in `Authorization` header.
Required header: `x-business-id: <business uuid>`.

### 401 — Unauthorized - Missing or expired token, an MCP OAuth token used against the REST API, or no access to this business
